LOS ANGELES AND INDIO, CA (February 3) – AEG’s annual Coachella Valley Invitational (CVI), the preeminent preseason professional soccer event in North America, announced today that it has entered into broadcast agreements with FOX Television Stations and Gray Media to televise 24 MLS and NWSL games live from the event taking place February 1-22, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA.

2025 is the second year that CVI has hosted both men’s and women’s professional soccer preseason games. The men’s matches will take place February 5, 8, 9, 12 and 15 2025, with the women’s matches scheduled for February 16 and 22, 2025.

Beginning February 5, FOX will air a schedule of MLS games from CVI on its owned-and-operated stations in select home markets starting with the 2024 MLS Cup Champion, LA Galaxy vs. Austin FC on February 5 at 11:00 a.m. (PST) followed by the Portland Timbers vs. San Jose Earthquakes match at 12:30 p.m. (PST).

Select FOX stations will also televise NWSL games on February 16 beginning with Angel City FC vs. Portland Thorns FC on February 16 at 11:00 a.m. (PST).

“In our efforts to deliver as much live sports programming as possible, we’re very happy to bring this unique tournament to our audiences,” said Frank Cicha, Executive Vice President of Programming, FOX Television Stations.

Additionally, Gray Media will televise MLS matches, beginning on February 5 with St. Louis CITY SC vs. Real Salt Lake at 10:00 a.m. (PST) followed by the New York City FC vs. Sporting Kansas City game at 3:00 p.m. (PST) on the Gray-owned network affiliates in St. Louis and Kansas City, respectively.   Gray’s network affiliate in Charlotte will also air the Charlotte FC vs. LA Galaxy at 10:00 a.m. (PST) on February 9 and the Charlotte FC vs. the Portland Timbers at 10:00 a.m. (PST) on February 15.

Gray will also air the NWSL game on February 16 featuring Angel City FC vs. Portland Thorns FC at 11:00 a.m. (PST) on the Gray-owned network affiliate in Portland.

AEG will also provide match feeds to each of the participating franchises enabling them to stream their games over their various team platforms.

All CVI matches will be produced by AEG and Tourbeau Sports Group, a national live sports production company that produces and packages more than 10,000 live broadcasts annually across the professional, collegiate and youth sports landscape.

Now in its fourth year, the Coachella Valley Invitational provides participating teams with the opportunity to prepare for their upcoming 2025 seasons in optimum weather at world class facilities while also giving fans unprecedented access to watch some of MLS’s and NWSL’s most decorated and popular players and teams in an intimate setting, along with unique fan experiences. 2025 marks the event’s biggest year to date with 14 MLS and 6 NWSL teams participating.
